Gilbert had to crack a smile at the response. It was easy to see through the Brit's lie. "Yeah, right," he said, the statement dripping with sarcasm. "You should loosen up, Artie. There's no fun in always studying. Get drunk and-or stoned," he half-joked with a grin. "Hang out with friends and go on dates."
He reached out to playfully poke Arthur's head. "Es ist eine Verschwendung von einem schön Gesicht, wenn Sie dies nicht tun," he remarked teasingly, the grin on his face turning into an almost flirtatious smile.
(("It's a waste of a pretty face if you don't." -translation fail))

Arthur didn't look at the Albino's face and just turned away from him. He wasn't going to tell him about his alcohol tollerance, or that he had barely friends and above all that he had never been asked on a date before and had gotten rejected a lot.
He just rolled his eyes and frowned some. "Right..." He titled his head and looked at the Albino. "What did you just call me?" He didn't speak german. So he didn't really got what he had just said.

The smile was still on Gilbert's face when the Brit turned to look at him. "I didn't call you anything. I said..." he paused as he leaned forward to look at the other more closely before reaching out to run his thumb over Arthur's cheek. "that it's a waste of a pretty face if you don't."
He blinked when he realized what he just said and did, and he dropped his hand and leaned back. Man, I hang out with that guy way too much, he thought.
His attitude now back to normal, he continued talking. "Besides, don't chicks dig that 'sexy British accent' you have? And your British-ness in general?" he asked as he gestured towards Arthur.

Arthur blushed immediately when Gilbert translated his words. P-pretty face? Was he- The Brit felt his thumb across his cheek. He cheeks were reddening even more. He looked away from Gilbert when he leaned back. "R-right." He mumbled still not facing him.
He rolled his eyes. "Really? Do they now? If that were true I'd have a girlfriend, right? Really they laugh you in the face and tell you, you have such a stupid accent." He said sighing a bit. He once had asked a girl out, and the entire date she kept giggling over his funny accent.

Gilbert blinked, surprised at having gotten a reaction, though a smirk quickly made its way to his face afterwards. "Yep. Right," he agreed, relishing in the Brit's apparent blush even though he couldn't actually see it with the other's face turned away.
The smirk grew into a grin at Arthur's next words, and he gave on approving nod. "Now that's what I'm talking about! Show some attitude instead of being all quiet and repressed and stuff," he said, not really sure if what he said made any sense. "Oh, and if that's what you think, then you seriously haven't met the girls at this school. They'll go crazy for you," he added, chuckling.
He then reached out once again to cup Arthur's chin, and he turned his face towards him. "Or maybe you want the awesome me to take you out myself instead?" he asked teasingly.
((Ffff why is my Gil starting to act like France? XDD))

Arthur turned back to look at Gilbert and rolled his eyes. Girls going crazy? For him? Yeah right in his dreams.
Though he hadn't seen it coming what the Albino did next. His face turned bright red as he cupped his chin. Going out with him? W-wait was he...asking him on a date?!
Arthur became even redder. "W-what?" He stuttered as he leaned back almost falling of his chair. "A-are you asking me out?"

For a moment, Gilbert wanted to just laugh at Arthur's reaction to his inquiry, though he began to wonder why the Brit wouldn't accept the fact that he was attractive (though not as attractive as him). The blond also obviously lacked self-confidence, so maybe hanging out with the overly-confident German would give him the ego boost he heeded.
And with that in mind, Gilbert answered the other's question.
"Ja. I guess I am." He grinned, dropping his still-outstretched hand as he leaned back to observe Arthur. "So whaddaya say, Artie?"

Arthur blinked twice and his face, if that even was possible, became even more redder. Gilbert was seriously asking him out? He glanced over to him and studied him. He was goodlooking, Arthur had to admit that. And had been nice at him, in probably his own way to him and the first one seriously asking him.
He looked back down at his desk and blushed even harder. "O-okay, fine..." He didn't face the Albino, trying to hide his blush. And not even knowing why he had said yes. He was going out with gilbert now?

“Awesome!” Gilbert exclaimed, practically beaming at Arthur. The idea had come to him on impulse, though now he was actually feeling excited. He found himself already thinking about all the cool places he could show the Brit. Oh! He could take him to that bar he always frequented with his friends. But wait, with that baby-face he kind of had, would Arthur be able to get in? And was a bar even a good venue for a date? Gilbert supposed the blond would most likely prefer a cafe, but that would be unawesome.
With all the thinking he was doing about the outing, Gilbert just then noticed that Arthur wasn’t even looking at him. Annoyed at how many times that’s been happening, he repeated his earlier action and took hold of Arthur’s chin to make him face the German once again.
“Quit doing that, dude! You keep on looking away from me. What, am I ugly or something?” he asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked straight at Arthur, oddly missing the obvious blush on the other’s face.

Arthur smiled softly on his own as he heard the beaming reaction of the German. He was getting excited as well. The blush across his face even grew bigger. He wondered where he would take him. Wondering what his idea of a date was. Maybe he would take him for dinner and then to a movie? No Gilbert didn't look like a romanticist. Still he looked forward to go out with him, for some strange reason.
He snapped out of his thoughts and his eyes widened a bit when Gilbert forced him to look at him. "N-no that's not it, y-you...you're quite handsome." The words left his mouth before he realised it. His face became as red as it could get, as red as a tomato. Immediately looking down, fidgetting.
